Don't stand by the water cooler, ok?

Every normal person wants to feel a sense of mastery over the circumstances of his own life. No person want to feel weak and defeated. Yet, as we face up to our own personal weaknesses and difficulties which surrounds us, sometimes (even standing at the water cooler) we do feel that we are powerless and that life for us is almost hopeless.

While standing by the water cooler some time ago, I felt a sense of definite : should I or should I not turn on hot or cold? Rarely does this happen to me, but it gave me some time to think. Jesus gave us a formula for power in living, He said," Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto the mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea: and shall NOT doubt in his heart, BUT shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass: he shall have whatsoever he saith" ( Mark 11:22,23).

So remember, when you stand by the water cooler " Faith in God"--not in our selves,but in God. We are not weak and defeated we have the VICTORY!!!!!
